When to use fancy fonts instead
Markdown doesn’t work in your display name, server nickname, About Me or channel names. That’s where Unicode fonts come in: try bold, gothic, small caps or bubble text and paste the result.
Some servers have bots that block unusual characters in nicknames, so keep it readable.
For gothic, glitch and decorated names in one place, see Discord fonts and the nickname generator.
