Fancy Text Editor

Most fancy text tools style your whole text the same way. Here you can style each part differently: make a headline bold, a quote italic, a name cursive and a price struck through — in one paragraph, ready to paste.

Pick a style

It’s applied to the selected text — or, with nothing selected, to the word or line the cursor is in.

Shortcuts: Ctrl/⌘ B bold, Ctrl/⌘ I italic, Ctrl/⌘ U underline, Ctrl/⌘ Shift X strikethrough, Ctrl/⌘ Z undo.

How to mix text styles

  1. Type or paste your text into the editor.
  2. Select the words you want to style.
  3. Pick a font (Script, Gothic, Bubble…) and/or press B, I, or a line style. Repeat for other words.
  4. Press Copy all and paste into Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook or anywhere else.

Questions

Can I use different fonts in the same sentence?

Yes — that’s what this editor is for. Select a word or phrase, pick a style, then select something else and pick another. Everything stays in one block of text you can copy in one go.

Can I combine styles, like bold and underlined?

Yes. Bold, italic and the font buttons change the letters themselves, and underline, strikethrough and the other lines are added on top, so you can stack them: bold + italic + underline + strikethrough all at once.

Why are some buttons greyed out?

Unicode only has certain combinations. For example there is bold cursive but no italic cursive, and monospace has no bold version. When a combination doesn’t exist the button is disabled instead of producing broken letters.

What happens if I click a style without selecting anything?

It switches that style on for whatever you type next, just like in a word processor. Click it again to switch it off.

Is my text saved?

Only in your own browser, so it’s still there when you come back. Nothing is uploaded. Press Clear to remove it.
